Former Super Eagles striker and Captain, Kanu Nwankwo paid a condolence visit to Inspector General of police IGP Mohammed Adamu, over the unfortunate death of three police officers and two civilians in Taraba State.
Kanu presented customized jerseys with names of the fallen heroes printed on them to the IGP at the Force headquarters on Thursday in Abuja.
Wadume, Taraba Kidnap Kingpin Re-arrested
The Officers were killed on Tuesday 6th of August 2019 by some soldiers of Takum battalion in Taraba state. The slain officers, are: Inspector Mark Ediale, Sergeant Usman Danzumi, and Sergeant Dahiru Musa.
The kidnap kingpin, in custody of the operatives, Alhaji Hamisu Bala Wadume was said to have been freed by the soldiers. He was later rearrested by the police in Kano a week after the ugly incident.
