NNPC Says No Increase In Petrol Price, As PPPRA Deletes Template

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said that there will not be any change in the ex-depot price for petrol. The NNPC made this known in tweet on its official handle on Friday.

Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) had earlier posted the template that announced an increase in price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as petrol, to N212.6 per litre. The PPPRA has since deleted the template on its website.

Minister for State Petroleum resources, Chief Timipre Sylva has also any denied any report of increase in petrol pump price. The Minister stated this while addressing a press conference of the sidelines of groundbreaking ceremony of a gas cylinder manufacturing facility in Lagos.
