The Presidency has announced the passage of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari.
The special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina disclosed this in a press statement on Saturday 18 April 2020.
The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17, 2020.
Reactions have been poured in the media about the news of his demise, with many praying for his soul to rest in peace.
Kyari was appointed by President Muhmadu Buhari as his Chief of Staff in 2015.
