The Three ex corps members from NYSC Adamawa who emerged winners for the President’s Honours Award for the 2018/2019 have appreciated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for providing and enabling environment for them to have served the state meritoriously. These corpers namely

Abioye Yetunde AD/16B/0790 out of which two served with the German Hospital Yola as physicians were full of gratitude to the Adamawa State Government.
It could be recalled that They were offered automatic employment and scholarship up to Ph.D level in any university of the their choice in Nigeria and cash gifts by President Buhari.
At a sent fort event organised for them at the place of their primary Assignment ( German Hospital) They all appreciated the leadership of Adamawa German Medical center for the support and the provision of a level playing ground which encouraged them to stand out . They posited that they were able to contribute their share of community development which attracted the recognition NYSC at the state and federal level making them recipients of the prestigious award.
The Administrator of the German Hospital Hajiya Fadimatu and Dr Yakubu Kennedy Head of clinicals and other heads of departments where the corp members served also applauded the Governor and further offered words of encouragement to the young Doctors.
Dr Yakubu Kennedy (CMAC) who spoke on behalf of the management appreciated Governor Fintiri and the Administrator for the sustained commitment in improving health care in the state to which the German Medical Center has been able to over the years maintain the best practices where the end result culminated into producing 2 Corp members who received presidential award.
Dr Yakubu maintained that such encouragement from a friendly Government will further motivate several others into wanting to practice in Adamawa State.
