Hajj Commission, Saudi Consulate Strengthen Relationship

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria(NAHCON), Chairman/CEO, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan visited the Saudi Arabia Consulate in Kano. The chairman was at the consulate together with the commission’s Operations Commissioner Alhaji Abdullahi Magaji Hardawa, Ag. Secretary Alhaji Ahmad Maigari and SA Tech. Dr. Danbaba Haruna.

The delegation paid a courtesy visit to Saudi Consul General H.E. Khalil Ali Ahmad in Kano and both parties discussed issue of importance to NAHCON and the Kingdom.

It can recalled that the Hajj activities was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic last year, which made the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to suspend the Hajj and Umrah activities in 2020.

As the COVID-19 vaccines is been rolled out, there is hope for Hajj activities in 2021 with some restrictions.
