The screening committee of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has dcleared 13 aspirants to contest its primaries scheduled for 6 and 7 of June 2022.
Chairman of the Committee and a former national Chairman of the party, John Oyegun, revealed this on Friday.
According to the Oyegun, 13 out of the 23 aspirants screened were cleared by the committee to participated in the primaries while the other 10 did not avail for the screening exercise. However, the Chairman did not reveal the identities of the aspirants.
Oyegun stated that former President Goodluck Jonathan did not participate in the screening exercise.
The 13 cleared aspirants are expected to contest the APC presidential primary at the special convention in Abuja next week.
