A hired hand must justify his pay. It is therefore not surprising that Ahmad Sajoh ,a hired pen in the Binani rank and file is up to no good spreading false information in a bid to to cast the PDP victory in Adamawa state in bad light. However,the way things stand,no amount of lying can change the facts.
As far as the issue of money is concerned ,no one is in doubt of how his principal generously used money and bought over delegates to emerge as the governorship candidate of the APC in Adamawa state.It is on record that the matter of vote buying has featured on the litigation of pre election matters against the APC guber candidate. Like never before Aisha Dahiru Binani opened the door for modern day commercial politicking. Confident of what she thinks money can do,she trusted in the “wujja wujja” political innovation of using all means,fair or foul to attain her goals. In this unwholesome enterprise several people of questionable character became bent under the pressure and influence of money. Sajoh Ahmad knows the truth ,yet he chose the path of untruthfulness.
Ahmad Sajoh’s tirade this time around has taken a dangerous turn as in his desperation introduces religious and tribal sentiments into the already tense atmosphere of Adamawa state politics. In a bid to whip up sentiments,he created a celebration galore by openly lying about dogs and pigs being slaughtered “burning of certain islamic insignia such as prayer mats, ablution kettles and prayer beads” being to celebrate Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s victory. It is important to note that this is meant to apall and create religious disaffection in Adamawa state. Is Fintiri a Christian? Even if such thing as slaughtering a pig happened,it is none of his business because in Nigeria,a pluralistic society there is freedom of conscience and series of laws that allows one worship and eat as one pleases . No islamic insignia was burnt in Adamawa State. By introducing this sentiment ,Sajoh has finally exposed the wicked and dangerous motives that have all along guided their campaign of calumny against ” kabilu” that characterized their bigoted uterances which set them up against the people they planned to fool into slavery.
Evidently ,Sajoh is very unhappy about celebrating Fintiri’s victory. We all know that he had high hopes that the “wujja wujja” project will enhance his table. Alas,this is not to be. The agenda has failed woefully. It is not surprising that as the phantom of princely sway in Government House fast deminishes,his anger is directed to create as much diaffection as possible. Fortunately for the people of Adamawa state,the plan to plunge the state into a violent reaction so as to use whatever means to impose a despicable government of anarchist failed due to Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s timely call for calm. The provocative utterances of Sajoh Ahmad is meant to throw the state into chaos so as to facilitate interference by instruments of coercion in the state.
The crimes of Aishatu Binani and her accomplices are legion. Not only is her friend Hudu a fugitive at the moment,so also are the thugs that snatched the original result sheets in Fufore. Sajoh dares talk about Fufore? The whole world knows who stole the original results sheet in Fufore. When a prominent APC stalwart mentioned the names of the thughs and those who sponsored them, why didn’t Sajoh respond to him. Former Speaker in the Adamawa State House of Assembly who was also former member of the House of representatives Hon Sadiq Dasin bluntly mentioned the names of the perpetrators and how the APC perpetrated the result sheet theft..i say it again , if Sajoh is courageous enough he should call out Hon Dasin who said the truth and is still standing by it till date!!Comon sense is not common indeed, In Futore, The first result sheet was stolen , the REC sent a second one with instructions to “taimaki matan nan’ it failed. The APC manufactured two different results to get more votes, in the ensuring controversy, the results from the IREV portal was used. So what is Sajoh saying? Mere fallacies!!
The truth is,Just like many others, perpetrators will oneday be caught ,they will be ferated from their hiding holes and brought to justice. Sajoh is not doing Binani justice by forcing others to expose her ignoble conduct before and after her doomed gubernatorial ambition.
Sajoh’s assertion that the state tPDP is weaponizing violence to secure undeserved victory is BUNKUM! This is because he simply overlooked the gravity of Hudu’s fake declaration which has the propensity of causing statewide or even national violence. Maybe because of his antecedence in aligning with electoral fraud, he has failed to come to reality with what a people whose mandate is about to be stolen in broad daylight can do at a spontaneity. Times have changed. That was then but this is now. The people are wiser.
It is a fat lie to say that the head of the ICT in Yola was transferred because he tampered with the BVAs. Everyone knows the young man refused to be compromised. Even at that, why was there no call for his removal by them then? On the part of the REC there were several calls for his removal before the supplementary election, yet he was left. Sajoh should understand that INEC did the right thing by sending the REC”s superiors to superintend the process for which Hudu appeared clearly biased.
Sajoh said ” At the time the REC took charge all results were collated by genuine collation officers , it was these mercenary elements that were being awaited. And in order to achieve their illegality, they tried to suspend the REC, this undermining his role as the chief electoral officee of the state” Here again is tissues of lies spewed for sake of mischief, if genuine officers collatted results, where did they get them from, because all collation officers were on the field being monitored by the media, election observers and everyone. The damning thing about lying is that several other lies have to be concocted in order to protect the first lie and by so doing the liar’s confusion magnifies the more.
Like the poor player that he is,he has failed in creating a good public image for her and is now doing worse by compromising her fragile position and exposing her to public ridicule and drawing her closer to legal prosecution for the horrendous offences of treasonable felony, bribery etc. By further fooling her into spending money on a fruitless venture that enriches them,Binani will be a double loser if she continues to seek their counsel. Check it out which lie does he want us to believe? The claim that two INEC commissioners were molested for refusing to work for PDP and at the same time same a claim that the two commissioners were attacked for working for PDP. Of all he is yet to tell us if Hudu is the returning officer and whether his declaration is in tandem with the law.
The culprits in Adamawa are mainly the greedy elements in Binani’s camp that are feeding fat on her resources and goading her into conflict with the electorate;the same people that she should start mending fences with. When power is elusive,it does not mean everything is over.
In the present situation what does Ahmad Sajoh intend to cause by his write-up? Clearly,his intention is to cause discord amongst our people. Like in the past this has failed. With the outcome of the elections in the public domain,this all round poor player should polish his trade or find another instead of guiding his principal into the murky waters of politics of which the two of them cannot swim out.
Finally, Sajoh’s tirade is nothing but what is referred to in Hausa language as ” ihu bayan hari”(a battle cry after the attack”); it is a campaign after an election . It is better that the Binani hangers-on allow her keep her peace instead of fleecing her off her resources when they know fully well that the last battle of the war is over .
What Ahmad Sajoh is saying is hogwash!!
