The Deputy Governor of Adamawa State Chief Crowther Seth has inspected a broken down bridge at Labondo village in Girei local Government Area.
The bridge which connects rural feeder roads linking Girei and Demsa through Borrong is the only connection of access road to the area.
The bridge broke down as a result of the heavy downpour that caused the flooding which submerged many houses and villages along the river bank.
Chief Crowther Seth who was accompanied by the SSG Ahmad Bashir faulted the substandard work done by RAMP on the bridge and said the present Government will not condone any work shabilly executed where the effect is retrogressive on the state.
He further promised that the State Government will do intervene quickly so that the people can have a temporary passage.
